Repairs damaged PDFs locally: a broken or missing cross-reference table is rebuilt by scanning the file for objects, the document is rewritten from its page tree with sequential object numbers, unreachable objects are dropped, missing references are neutralised, and a fresh xref plus document ID are written. The report lists what was wrong. Encrypted files must be unlocked first.
