Checks a PDF against the PDF/A requirements it can see and, when nothing blocks it, writes the archival file: PDF/A identification in XMP, an sRGB output intent with an ICC profile generated here, the tagged flag and a document language, with scripts, launch actions and embedded files removed. Fonts that are not embedded cannot be fixed inside the file — the report says so instead of writing a document that falsely claims conformance. This is a best-effort conversion, not a certification: validate the result with veraPDF or Acrobat Preflight before archiving.
